Politics Do Indeed Make Strange Bedfellows

What do MoveOn, the Christian Coalition, the Gun Owner’s of America, and Google have in common? They are all supporting Net Neutrality. Here’s your chance to contribute to an ad that highlights that Net Neutrality ain’t just for liberal wierdos. Check it out at: MoveOn.org Civic Action: Democracy in Action

Thank you for your stand on Net Neutrality. I’m happy to see my ISP is so consumer / small business oriented. Having the ‘Net controlled by a few big corporations leads to this kind of profiteering (which is why Easystreet, not MSN or Qwest with MSN is my ISP).

I know that Easystreet is focusing on the SMB market, but living only four miles from your data center, I’d love to see Easystreet jump into WiMAX. I drop my Qwest DSL in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the note, Ken, and for being an EasyStreet customer.

We expect to be a service provider on Unwire Portland’s network, and will be delivering WiFi and WiMax-class services over it. If you live in Portland (and the fact that you’ve got Qwest service suggests you do), you may in fact be able to get wireless service from us, perhaps as soon as later this year.
